This song's home recorded in my 5x5 box room that overlooks 8 blocks of council flats and as a result is pretty raw. This isn't modern digital garbage...it's the kind you got in the late 90's, so give it the respect it deserves and pop it in your headphones. Nothing sounds really good coming out of the teeny speaker on your phone anyway, does it?

The "single" (I don't even feel comfortable calling it that!) is a mostly finished version of the song from the forthcoming solo-ish album "Fear of A Female Planet" that will be the first Johnny Yum Yum record. Riviera Kid is still very much a collaborative two-piece band, but Dan and I have had great trouble meeting to practice since March let alone record, so this recording is all me from the instruments to the production. We may put it on our first full length we write together, or not. Who knows?
